Extra-Attic is ideally situated near the Cape Town International Airport, with easy access to both the northern and southern suburbs, Stellenbosch and Somerset West, and only 15 minutes from the City centre.
We opened our doors in 1998 with 400 storage units. The majority of these were the normal garage size of 6 x 3 meters, with approx. one third built to half garage size of 3 x 3 meters.
We added a further 200 units in mid 2005, with a mix of mostly smaller 3 x 2 and 2 x 2 meter units, as well as a number of large 7 x 3,5 x 3 meter units, with larger doors to accommodate caravans and/or fully equiped 4 x 4 vehicles.
We are the only facility with individual alarms and smoke detectors in every unit, coupled with a state of the art access control system to facilitate 24/7 access for paid up clients.
We pride ourselves in our friendly service, in a clean and tidy and very safe environment, where you can store that paraphernalia that clutters up your home, garage or garden shed with utmost confidence.
